**Back Office & Trade Support Analyst**

**Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS)** is one of ENGIE’s Business Entity. **WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE**
**Organization**
As part of the Back Office/Trade Support team, you will report to the team lead.
You will collaborate to the fulfillment of the objectives of the department and may be involved in projects spanning multiple groups across various commercial functions and regions.
**Role**
- Managing the operational trade lifecycle in a timely manner
- Reducing operational risk to the minimum possible
- Controlling & supporting the front office activities
- Validating and maintaining referential data such as trading calendars and fixings
- Aligning information system to business evolution
**Main activities**
**Daily Operations**:
- ** OTC Transactions**
- Validate trade booking against sales recap
- Draft and send deal confirmations to counterparties
- Generate cashflow settlement for client invoices
- Monitor and process collateral margining with clients
- ** Cleared & Listed Transactions**
- Reconcile deals against exchange or clearing platforms information
- Calculate exchange margin calls & verify clearing broker’s figures
- Validate commissions against broker rate schedules
- Maintain fixings & trading calendars to guarantee integrity
- Update Standard of Procedure for business continuity
- Liaise with Shanghai Office for Chinese related operations/transactions
- Work with Front Office & other Support Functions for fast problem solving and new business initiatives
- Develop end user tools to streamline and facilitate process within the team
- Provide support for any back office related projects.
**YOUR PROFILE**
- Graduate with a specialisation in Finance/Economics or Commodities (Master/Degree’s)
- 2-5 years working experience with commodities or portfolio management firms dealing with Commodities (Internship included)
- Familiar with derivatives - Oil and Gas particularly
- Flexible and able to work well in a team
- VBA Skills will be highly preferred
- Knowledge on Physical Gas (LNG) is a plus
- Excellent attention to details and strong organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise while working in fast-paced environment
