**About the Role**:
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Manager Sales, this role is responsible for scheduling and supporting the coordination of the global sales book between asset, sales teams, freight desk, and back office, to optimise commercial and logístical, supply chain, and scheduling outcomes for global potash sales within the prescribed mandate. The role is also expected to make a broader contribution to develop future growth options (e.g Jansen Stage 2 etc.)
Key aspects of the role:
- Supports the Manager Sales to coordinate global sales in line with the prescribed mandate.
- Align, collaborate, and influence the regional marketing network to optimize commercial outcomes against product and export supply chain options.
- Support the management of operational interfaces with the asset to coordinate annual, monthly, and daily communication to optimize export scheduling and stock management outcomes
- Understands sea-freight market dynamics and work with the freight team to optimize costs, customer service, and supply chain performance. Ensure operational requirements are understood (e.g., loading plans, discharge requirements etc.).
- Coordinate with the sales operation team (based in Manilla) to ensure the back-office activities they manage (e.g., invoicing, data updates, etc.) are executed in a way that meets customers’ needs, coaching and providing support as required
- Review of relevant trading reports (e.g., profit and loss, buyer exposure, credit, etc.) in alignment with Group and Business level requirements.
- Take a leading role to respond to non-technical (e.g., supply chain related) commercial customer complaints
- Assists the Manager Sales and/or other potash sales and marketing leadership as required to support and lead projects or other marketing activities as required, including global and regional inputs to inform portfolio growth options (e.g., Jansen expansions, external acquisitions etc.).
**About You**:
- Knowledge of potash industry and supply chain.
- 5+ years’ experience of the potash sales, value chain management, planning and optimization.
- Strong supply-chain management and commercial skills, in-depth analysis of complex information to ascertain and translate points of value
- Capacity to lead and influence effective communication across stakeholders and customers in a global context.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commercial, economics, technical and/or relevant business discipline, or higher
