The Market Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the operations, design, delivery and reporting related to recruiting, engaging and deepening relationships with key AVPN stakeholders in Singapore. These stakeholders include key AVPN members based in Singapore (e.g. foundations, impact funds, family offices, corporates, financial institutions, etc.); key partners (e.g. intermediaries, networks); funders; policymakers and more.

Engagement activities can include building and managing relationships, developing propositions, designing and managing local convenings, networking, and overall representation of AVPN in the market. The Market Associate will work closely with the Market Director and AVPN’s product, platforms, events and shared service teams to ensure acquisition, retention and deepening of members and stakeholder relationships. The Market Associate will also work closely with the SEA Markets team to ensure seamless membership processes, accurate reporting, and effective communication with stakeholders.

This position requires a detail-oriented, independent and self-motivated professional who knows how to “connect the dots” to build strong stakeholder value, using and optimising data and logistics, navigating internal and external processes and relationships. This role is suitable for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment that has frequent interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Singapore market director in the engagement of existing and prospective members, including responding to membership enquiries and renewals, cultivating and progressing interest in other organisations to join/partner with AVPN.
- Communicating to members and stakeholders about AVPN platforms, programs and services with value and integrity
- Working with Market Director and other AVPN teams to design, deliver and manage convening activities in-market that engage stakeholders, especially members with AVPN programs.
- Build and maintain data on engagement with members and other stakeholders
- Review and refine member/stakeholder engagement processes to enhance efficiency and deepen AVPN value propositions
- Extract key data and prepare internal reports, dashboards and presentations for sharing with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify trends and insights to support strategic decision-making for Singapore market and rest of SEA
- Support regular team meetings of various levels and sizes through content, facilitation and scheduling
- For signature AVPN programs and activities (e.g. Global Conference, Regional Summits, thematic programs), support the sourcing, invitation and engagement of participation local members, partners and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of tertiary education and passionate about the social investment ecosystem in Asia and its impact potential
- Minimum 2 years experience in member services, data management, business development, stakeholder convening, preferably in a membership-driven organisation
- Team player and collaborative attitude that builds relationships and rallies support from others to achieve AVPN/team objectives
- Strong communication skills within and outside the organisation; represents organisation well with integrity, professionalism and respect.
- Strong sense of ownership, personal responsibility and work ethic
- A superb eye for detail, thoroughness, meticulousness, and follow-through attitude
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills under deadline pressure
- Ability to deliver effectively in a highly distributed and hybrid environment where many colleagues are communicating digitally
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Air Table, Mailchimp, and related productivity and communication tools.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and PowerBI is a plus
- Access to platforms, networks, associations or equivalent of businesses, foundations, philanthropists, etc. is a plus.
