**Senior Designer**

Oculus Design is looking for a Senior Designer to create high quality visual content across print and digital platforms, with a focus on creating engaging and visually compelling experiences for our clients' brand.

We are an integrated design agency that thinks differently to create holistic solutions.. We aim to help brands grow through identities, impactful visuals, curated experiences and insight driven strategies.

As our Senior Designer, you will be developing print concepts and layout, social media graphics and digital content across various social media platforms, aligning with brand guidelines. You have your pulse on current trends on marketing and audience engagement, and using these insights to achieve marketing objectives. You have a strong sense of curiosity and a passion to learn.

Most importantly, you would need to have strong skills in graphic design software, typography, and layout, as well as a solid understanding of social media best practices and visual trends. Experience in creating and editing video content are extra pluses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop ideas and concepts for a variety of works.
- Research, ideate and create captivating contents for social media platforms, including memes, infographics, gifs and short video edits.
- Create layouts for various publication.
- Create illustrations, storyboards, web pages, videos and more for new and existing clients.
- Participate in pitches.
- Work with writers, account managers, and other designers to brainstorm ideas and bring them to life visually.
- Guide and mentor junior designers.
- Report to Design director and Studio Manager.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in agency with experience in both publication, digital and social media projects.
- You have knowledge of After effects/ Adobe Premier Pro/Adobe indesign / Figma, etc range of products.
- Experience with digital imaging, illustration and image making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- An understanding and demonstration of user-centered design principle.
- Able to develop simple and elegant design approaches to design problems.
- Meticulous
- Awareness of local trends and cultural nuances to tailor content appropriately.
- Open-mindedness in learning new skills that contributes to the betterment yourself and the team.

This role is suitable if you
- Have experience in a startup, media company, or agency where speed and creativity are key.
- Enjoy rolling up your sleeves to create solutions and drive results.
- Thrive in less defined hierarchy and more autonomous type of corporate culture.

- Enjoy working in large, structured teams over agile, hands-on roles.
- Are uncomfortable with the intensity and pace of agency life.
