Service Engineer Computer

**Responsibilities**
- Executing software project upgrades for the existing custody transfer flow metering, blending, and transfer control systems.
- Supports the execution of automation projects
- Ensuring service delivery aligns with sales agreements.
- Support project programming (controller, operator interface, database, custom, etc.)
- Supporting sales, marketing, and business growth initiatives such as project pursuits, discussions, seminars, presentations, and product demos.
- Provides troubleshooting support plant-wide for Instrumentation equipment, maintenance and other key process owners.
- Taking ownership of deployment and site activities, driving national service teams to complete installations on schedule, and conducting quarterly customer follow-ups to ensure system health.
- Maintaining accountability for site activity completion, including reviewing commissioning reports and databases.
- Supervising the commissioning of automation within computer systems at customer sites.
- Keeping clear records of tool and device inventory in different countries and regularly updating site-related activities in CRM.
- Providing support for additional tasks and assignments as needed, including site visits, surveys, and customer follow-ups.
- Participating in specific projects and offering technical support to enhance business opportunities.
- Coordinating and managing multiple CSV (Computer System Validation) and Data Integrity projects concurrently.
- Coordination of functional testing of Commissioning of Instrumentation & Control Systems, and engaging the Operations Team when and where needed
- Replicating customer-installed software control systems using demo units to address customer issues.
- Organizing meetings with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive project progress, discuss deliverables, facilitate decisions, document meeting minutes, and provide timely updates.
- Developing and reviewing change control proposals and overseeing the change management process.
- Conducting site surveys at customer installations and providing comprehensive recommendations.
- Reviewing and approving vendor commissioning documents, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Preparing and executing Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), and Test Protocols while ensuring documentation complies with regulatory standards.
- Developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Aids, and Work Instructions on-site.
- Creating and revising Automation training materials and conducting training sessions.
- Providing hyper-care support after system release for addressing deviations and operational investigations.
- Involve in providing onboard services, commissioning of refit and retrofit project, remote guidance / product support to customers and backend support for field service team.
- Occasionally providing support during shutdowns or extended hours, especially during installation, commissioning, and qualification phases.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Manager.

- Taking charge of establishing efficient processes to facilitate a seamless transition from equipment and service quotation to implementation and commissioning.
- Continuously improving current business practices and processes to enhance productivity and project profitability.
- Assuming ownership of project budgeting and diligently tracking project execution.
- Anticipating risk trends in project development and providing pragmatic forecasts of potential risks and opportunities to operational managers.
- Exhibiting exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and delivering presentations.
- Showcasing effective leadership abilities and proactively initiating project discussions, leading multifaceted stakeholders, departments, and varying complexities.

**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation and other engineering discipline
- 3 - 6 years’ experience in Computer Monitoring and Control System as well as good knowledge of computer hardware / peripherals and basic software's
- Basic digital literacy and MS office.
- Fitness & confidence working in industrial environments.
- Computer protocols knowledge & PLC configurations will be added advantage.
