Director/senior Director, Analytics

**About the Role**

Our Strategic Communications team in Singapore provides our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.

We serve as trusted advisors to management teams and Boards of Directors seeking to seize opportunities, manage crises, navigate market disruptions, articulate their brand, stake a competitive position, and preserve their permission to operate.

**What You'll Do
- Lead analytics projects for clients as the primary point of contact
- Accurately identify and frame client challenges and propose data-driven solutions
- Deliver actionable insights for projects in the areas of audience & influencer insights, conversation & media analysis, campaign & message performance, event assessment and more
- Combine and further develop our data services to solve complex challenges for our clients, especially regarding their communication and reputation efforts
- Detect hidden patterns, identify trends, reveal drivers, predict developments, visualize similarities and differences, and otherwise leverage data to deliver actionable insights
- Identify and maintain a reliable pipeline of incoming projects
- Develop and manage project scopes, timelines and financial parameters
- Collaborate with other experts on the research, planning and development of data-driven projects
- Support new business efforts by delivering data-driven insights to inform our approach
- Support the development of thought leadership surrounding emerging trends and issues
- Promote the value of analytics and insights to advance our data-driven culture within the firm
- Work closely with a diverse, global team of data experts on clients across the world

**Basic Qualifications
- At least 7 years and above of experience in a data and analytics environment
- Proven expertise in turning information into actionable insights
- Strong intellectual curiosity and exceptional critical thinking
- Ability to translate abstract and technical concepts into simple language and relatable ideas
- Passion for tackling challenging problems and skilled in handling ambiguity and uncertainty
- Experience with media and conversation analysis
- Talent for establishing rapport and growing relationships with client and colleagues
- Proficiency with digital listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch/Talkwalker)
- Statistical skills and experience with statistics programs (e.g. Excel/SPSS/STATA)
- Experience in scoping and managing analytics projects
- Appetite for learning and teaching others
- Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team
- Strong sense of data and artificial intelligence ethics
- This role requires travel to clients and other FTI offices

**Desirable Qualifications
- Work experience in consulting
- Foundational programming skills in Python, SQL and/or R
- Expertise with data visualization tools (preferably Tableau, Gephi)
- Expertise in journalism, media, communications, or marketing
- Additional language skills
