Singapore HSM Marine Engineering Full time

Prepare key project documentation in executing the complete piping engineering scope of work as per the project requirements in meeting the customer’s expectations
- Prepare project requirement specification, spool/ assembly drawings, piping instrumentation diagram (P&ID), and other engineering data using a common engineering network, software, and tools under the supervision of senior team members.
- Coordinate with other engineering team members (i.e., yard engineering, basic design and etc.), subcontractors, and consultants on technical issues and design solutions in meeting project deliverables
- Participate in project meeting, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to piping design, and reviews the deliverables (i.e.BOM, high-pressure piping, piping corrosion, etc.)
- Follow up on P&ID, including quantification of Pipeline number in P&ID, Technical Specification, and MTO in standardizing with material code.
- Follow up and reviews Vendor Certified Documents (VCD)
- Perform technical studies in cooperation with production team members and subcontractors to develop interfaces for systems, and sub-systems in piping design for new-built structures
- Work with Procurement and project team to source for piping subcontractors and vendors in complying with the project technical requirement specifications in meeting project deliverables
- Prepare piping material specifications (i.e., size calculations, schematic diagram design, P&ID diagram, and layout plans for procurement purposes under the supervision of senior team members
- Generate detailed calculations, analyses, and solutions for mechanical design to deliver safe, secure, and fully functional facilities based on the customer’s safety and reliability standards with supervision from senior team members
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in planning, designing, and constructing a piping design in the Marine industry
- Knowledge and experience in the interpretation of piping diagrams, spool drawings, and its elements to deliver class-approved documents and drawings
