Objective

Academia Education Center seeks to engage a UI/UX Designer Intern to accelerate our digital transformation journey. The intern will work with and be supervised by a Digital Communications Manager and assist with the development and integration of new digital solutions for the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Craft useful, functional and interactive digital experiences for Academia’s clients, including students and parents
- Creating compelling educational journeys and experiences on the new Learning Management System being implemented
- Working closely with teachers and curriculum developers to deliver educational content on digital platforms, concerning liberal arts and the humanities
- Be involved in the entire development process from ideation to conceptualisation of various digital projects, including but not limited to our LMS (Learning Management System), CRM (Customer Relations Management) system, e-commerce and website development
- Collaborating with the marketing and digital team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user

Profile and Requirements
- Singaporeans and PRs only
- Internship must be part of curriculum requirement and/or tied to academic credits
- Eye for good interface design and understanding of design thinking processes
- Prior design experience in UI and customer flows preferred
- Skills in web development and knowledge of Content Management Systems, HTML5, Javascript and CSS a plus
- Familiar with at least two mainstream design and collaboration tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Experience Design, Adobe Photoshop, inVisionApp, Flinto, etc)
- Possess good digital literacy; any experience in branding, design and marketing is a bonus
- Wants to learn - able to take on multiple projects and willing to take on variety of projects
- Ability to think out of the box and provide creative solutions
