The Content Design & Product Writing team makes the TikTok consumer product easy and delightful to use through clear and expressive UX writing. We sit in the US, Singapore, and China, and collaborate closely with product management, product design, localization, engineering, and legal teams to launch and iterate product features.

We're looking for a user experience (UX) Content Designer to deliver writing that will transform product features and concepts so they're intuitive and easy to understand for our diverse global audience.

As an advocate for our users, you'll use design thinking, empathy, and data to help shape and refine our product and identify opportunities to build better experiences. You're independent, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving. You have experience juggling multiple projects and prioritizing them to have the greatest impact on your team and the company. You're also a strategic communicator, helping define product narratives with your team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Write and edit UI text to help creators navigate our product
- Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, engineers, ops, and localization to set a high bar for the overall user experience
- Manage and prioritize projects with multiple stakeholders across China, Singapore, and the US
- Drive process improvements to optimize collaboration
- Lead content audits to identify opportunities and drive consistency across the product
- Contribute to our content standards and be a champion for best practices
- Understand how to balance business requirements and customer needs in building features
- Collaborate with, influence, and drive consensus with stakeholders and their feedback
- Synthesize internal and external feedback to improve content clarity and quality
- Complete high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum qualifications**:

- English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3+ years experience in content design for consumer-facing products
- Experience collaborating with Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Localization teams
- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to deal with rapid changes and situations that are not ideal
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience working on a global product with international partners
- Experience using Figma
