Duties & Responsibilities
1) Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot automatic irrigation systems for golf courses, landscaped areas, parks, sports fields, nurseries, buildings
2) knowledge of providing design and consultancy services for local and overseas clients
3) Provides training on the maintenance of automatic irrigation systems.
4) Carry out research and development on lightning detection and protection systems including effective/ permanent grounding systems for automatic irrigation systems.
5) Responsible to lead the Irrigation Team (Projects Management) Department for managing and executing the company projects. The Project types include Irrigation Implementation/ Construction projects, Irrigation Maintenance/Term Contracts.
6) In charge and planning for the projects life cycle phases from initiation, development, evaluation & implementation and monitoring of operational programmes.
7) Oversee the entire process and be knowledgeable in project management relating to all operational and Provide the direction in project planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, Clients, and Consultants to ensure overall projects progress based on the schedule of works.
8) Performed inspection on work-in-progress to ensure that it meets or exceeds standards in terms of quality, budget and deadlines
9) Knowledge of supplying proper and suitable spare parts for all irrigation systems.
10) With a deep knowledge of the growth of plants and their requirements - as to carry out maintenance of Golf Courses and Turf Nursery
