Roles & Responsibilities

**Product Assistant Manager/Manager**

Working Hours: 8.30 am to 6.00pm (Mon to Fri)

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Location: Penjuru Rd

Salary Range: $3200 - $4200 [ based on experience ]

**Key Deliverables**:

- To assist the CEO to expand the range of relevant products under the company branding
- Deliver regular updates on trends, competitors and customer feedback
- Generate new product ideas with budgeted number of new products developed or OEM

**Responsibilities**:

- Product portfolio management including new product development or OEM
- Research and assess industry trends, market data, competitor data, consumer needs to identify potential new product opportunities
- Prepare regular analysis and trending reports on industry trending, competitors trending and analysis
- Lead product development projects with diverse stakeholders including Production, QA, Sales, Marketing, etc.
- Research on country regulatory requirements to ensure that products can be launched in the identified markets
- Research on patents, copyrights and trademarks to make sure there are no infringement issues involved
- Propose product positioning and pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, projecting volume and future growth potentials
- Bring new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs, preparing return-on-investment analyses, and establishing efforts and time schedules for the developments
- Support Sales and Marketing team in developing Sales and Marketing launch plans, and in ensuring that plans conform to company's branding strategy

**Requirements**:

- Minimum diploma holder in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Product Development experience with consumer brands preferred
- Strong business acumen, with marketing, research and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized, able to work with mínimal supervision and work with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in APAC regional role will be a plus
