Butcher Assistant(Meat Cutter)

**Responsibilities**
- Able to cut meat such as beef, pork, lamb, chicken and have knowledge in meat preparation techniques and retail butchery
- Handle basic meat cutting functions including trimming, deboning, slicing and portioning
- Weigh, label, pack and price various cuts of meat
- Perform inventory control and stock checking
- Arrange the products according to storage condition and temperature requirements
- Comply with safety and hygiene policies and procedures, according to government regulations

**Requirements**:

- Experience in butchery or culinary will be an advantage
- Provide excellent customer service and can-do attitude
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Familiar with meat cutting machines such as meat slicer, grinder, bone saw, band saw, sausage stuffer
- Able to breakdown primal cuts into retail cuts

Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,000.00 per month
