Temasek Lifesciences Accelerator (TLA) is hiring an Electronic & Communication Engineer / Technician for one of our portfolio companies - Aqualita Ecotechnology.

Aqualita Ecotechnology is a spin-off company from Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory which has developed a groundbreaking urban Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology that is scalable, modular, and versatile for fish farming. We are seeking a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the community and eager to contribute to an early-stage company in achieving Singapore’s “30 by 30” food security goal.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be involved in the following:

- Assist in the development of connected Internet-of-Things (IoT)
- Assist in hardware integration of environmental sensors with industrial controllers, e.g., PLC, ASIC
- Assist in software programming for IoT devices and cloud services
- Analyse security of IoT devices and provide necessary upgrades to reduce security risks
- Develop remote cloud desktops and mobile apps
- Work closely with Data Analyst, Technology and Production team to fulfil project requirements
**Profile Required**
- Creative, analytical, and critical thinker
- Strong communication skills with an attention to details
- Demonstrates initiative, enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation, and able to balance multiple tasks
**Qualifications**
- Higher Nitec / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or related fields.
- Has experience in integrating IoT devices in a secure Cloud environment
- Strong competency in various programming languages, including Python, Java, Javascript, C, C++, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
