- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant operations
- Handles customer's feedback and complaints
- Take charge of staff deployment, development, and performance management of employees
- Provide training to staff where necessary
- Manage roster schedule and personally lead the team during operations
- Ensure orientation of new staff, staff appraisals, and on-job-training are conducted and managed efficiently
- Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, and proper attire, and keep up to standards
- Conduct performance reviews, recommendations of rewards & increments to Management when required.
- Estimate and track COGS, anticipates restaurant stock availability, and ensure optimal stockholding
- Review, implement and execute the required policies and procedures where necessary
- Ensure closing and opening processes are in good order
- Any ad-hoc assignment as tasked

**Requirement**
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in the service industry
- Minimum diploma education in Hospitality, service, or equivalent qualification
- Possess intermediate to advance knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients and preparation techniques will be an added advantage
- Prior knowledge of beverages including but not limited to, sake, whisky, or wines
- Experience in a managerial role in running a Japanese fine dining restaurant
- Good management skills in restaurant operations such as manpower planning, handling operations issues, maintenance, procurement, sanitation, security, accounting policies and procedures, personnel management, and admin record and, preparing reporting
- Good in numbers and understanding of basic accounting knowledge.
- Driven and motivated with essential leadership traits
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
- Computer literate and comfortable using POS systems
- Work with passion, zest, energy, and professionalism
