**We are currently looking for a Junior Baker that has passion for what she/he is doing and is ready to showcase that through their work. Somebody who would like to be part of fun and innovative team that is always looking to learn, grow and deliver the best they can. Somebody who would not only like to create recipes but also create memories and be part of the family.**

**These are some of the things we would like you to be in charge of**:

- Supporting day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen and liaising with the Executive and Sous Chefs to ensure a successful working environment
- Preparing doughs, fillings, batters, icings and other components by measuring or weighing ingredients using containers or scales to ensure consistency and high-quality baked goods.
- Adjusting oven temperatures and placing items into hot ovens for baking.
- Developing new recipes for seasonal menus
- Preparing a wide variety of baked goods, including pastries by following traditional and modern recipes.
- Determining how baked goods and pastries should be presented and creating visually appealing food displays.
- Handling and monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
- Ensuring the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.
- Supervising and training staff members, when necessary

**About you**:

- Diploma in Culinary Arts, baking, pastry or any relevant field preferred.
- At least 1 year of working experience as a Baker or relevant role would be a bonus.
- Passionate individuals with no experience are welcome to apply.
- Possess food hygiene and safety certification.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry-making process.
- Knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
- Ability to communicate in spoken and written English.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in teams and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Above all, passionate about what you do, willing to learn and have fun at the same time

**Salary**: From $2,300.00 per month
