Job Description: Housekeeping Manager

Position: Housekeeping Manager Salary: $2800 - $3000 per month

Job Summary: The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Engineering departments. This role involves planning and implementing procedures for guest arrivals and departures, managing the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property, and ensuring excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Manager will also be responsible for managing staffing levels, monitoring guest experiences, maintaining supplier relationships, managing budgets, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the hotel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Engineering departments, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Plan and implement procedures for guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Manage and maintain the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating within the department and resolving guest problems or concerns in a timely manner.
- Manage staffing levels and scheduling for both Housekeeping and Engineering departments, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Continuously monitor and improve guest experiences by gathering and analyzing feedback through surveys and staff communication.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and vendors to ensure the provision of quality products and services to guests.
- Manage budgets and control costs while maintaining the highest level of service for guests.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Sales, F&B, and Accounting, to ensure a cohesive guest experience throughout the hotel.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using computer software and systems related to housekeeping and maintenance management.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
