**✦ Job Responsibilities ✦**
- Provide daily support to the Assistant Merchandising Manager on day-to-day operational and project-based tasks.
- Prepare, process, and maintain accurate purchase orders (POs), inventory records, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with the HQ team and external suppliers to collect product information, samples, pricing, and updates.
- Monitor and track order status to ensure on-time delivery, with all necessary shipping and customs documentation completed accurately.
- Maintain and update merchandising databases, product files, and digital archives with high attention to detail.
- Assist in updating product pricing, analyzing stock levels, and compiling sales performance reports.
- Support the preparation of range reviews, seasonal product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Communicate regularly with warehouses in Japan and Singapore to ensure accurate and timely stock delivery to store.
- Ensure all product lines are delivered ahead of key launch timelines to support the main business sales channels.
- Assist in coordinating annual stock takes for store, e-commerce operations, and warehouses.
- Monitor and track daily stock and sales performance via the POS system, and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record maintenance.
- Carry out other related tasks as assigned, in line with the responsibilities of the role.
**✦ Job Requirements ✦**
- At least 1 year of experience in merchandising, inventory coordination or administrative support.
- Having a passion and interest in Pokémon brand and merchandise with a keen interest in market trends and an ability to spot opportunities
- Proficiency in English language is a must to liaise with both local and overseas teams/suppliers.
- Familiarity with the Japanese language is a plus, as the role may involve occasional liaising with counterparts in Japan. (optional)
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience using SAP ByDesign or other inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and develop organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and a strong team player.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic retail environment.
- Able to liaise professionally with suppliers, warehouse teams, and cross-functional departments.
- Willingness to support annual stock take or product checks outside of regular office hours if required.
