Assistant Manager to Senior Manager, Business

**What the role is**:
Technology & Transformation is no longer “nice to have”, but imperative to survive and thrive in the new operating environment. STB launched the Tourism Technology Transformation Cube (Tcube) - a hybrid innovation space that brings STB’s digital initiatives, resources and thought-leadership content onto a single platform to support our tourism sector’s digital transformation.

We are looking for a digital transformation manager to:

- Drive data and digital transformation, change management and technology adoption in the tourism sector for operational efficiency and experience enhancement
- Forge partnerships with key stakeholders to strengthen capabilities and drive innovations both in STB and across the industry
- Build up STB's innovation and technology network in Singapore and globally

**Main responsibilities**:
1. **Programme Development and Management**
- Drive, develop and review initiatives and programmes to support the tourism sectors’ data and digital transformation
- Provide business consultancy services and technology advice to stakeholders to co-develop customised data and digital strategies and proof of concepts (i.e., identify gaps and opportunities in the areas of data and innovation)
- Conduct effective needs analysis through user research and deploy suitable qualitative research methods such as focus group studies and deep dive interviews (e.g. design thinking workshops) to elicit user requirements from stakeholders
- Explain findings (e.g. data, insights) related to specific problem statements and make conclusions and recommendations
- Conduct feasibility analysis to identify the business problems, requirements and opportunities on business proposals
- Support the managing of STB’s Tcube physical space (e.g., working with internal and external stakeholders on the assets and onsite activations)
- Support the administration of collaboration tools/systems
- Manage budget utilisation and cashflow for projects

2. **Industry development and stakeholder engagement**
- Understand the constraints of businesses and drive the potential technological intervention that will be help ease these constrains
- Implement industry engagement and outreach initiatives
- Identify and collaborate with relevant partners who can complement the tourism sector’s digital transformation efforts
- Support the development of regular Tcube content and events for the tourism sector, by working closely with stakeholders, suitable external consultants and vendors
- Account manage key tourism stakeholders to support their transformation, drive tech change management and encourage adoption of Tcube initiatives
- Keep up to date on the latest technologies and their applicability to the tourism industry
- Oversee and administer grants to financially support industry to adopt technologies

**Job requirements**:

- Experience with working with businesses on data analytics and/or digital transformation to create strategies, identify gaps and opportunities, develop proof of concepts etc.
- Proven track record in engaging relevant stakeholders (e.g., Government, Tourism and/or Technology sectors) will be an advantage
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects
- Functional business consultancy skills like workshop facilitation, design thinking etc.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound judgements
- Business acumen with the ability to think strategically
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Strong interest or basic knowledge of data and digital transformation concepts and technologies e.g., Agile, Design Thinking, Data analytics tools, datasets etc.
