**What the role is**
- Singapore’s push for digitalization coupled with cyber threats that are ever evolving in scale and sophistication paved the way for a continuously growing demand for cybersecurity professionals. As a result, we need to strengthen the pipeline of skilled cybersecurity professionals through identifying and empowering individuals with the right aptitude and skills to take on cybersecurity roles.
As part of our efforts to build up the cybersecurity capabilities in the public sector, CSDP aims to develop fresh graduates and working professionals over a period of 15 months to be cybersecurity professionals that are capable of securing Singapore’s digital economy and digital infrastructure.

**What you will be working on**
- CSDP is a development program that develops fresh and recent graduates and mid-career professionals with little to no experience in cybersecurity to eventually excel in their basic cybersecurity knowledge and skills. CSDP achieves this by supporting our successful applicants through a 3-month technical training followed by a 12-month job posting to one of CSA's Operational or Technical Divisions. After 15 months, officers can look forward to further development opportunities either in CSA or other government agencies.

**What we are looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity or STEM-related.
- Cybersecurity aptitude & learning attitude.
- Applicants who are passionate about contributing to Whole-of-Government (WOG) cybersecurity needs.
- Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity (e.g. cybersecurity certifications, participation in CTFs, Hackathons, Hack The Box) will be advantageous.
- Ability to communicate cybersecurity concepts, cognitive processes and complex analyses clearly and concisely.
- Adapts very well to rapidly changing situations/problems.
- A team player who firmly believes in the value of collaboration and also takes the initiative when working independently.
