**SUMMARY**:

- Our client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to be part of their growing team.

- Able to provide remote and on-site server and storage support to the Customer on a hardware and operating system level, including assessing the fault segment for subsequent troubleshooting.
- Able to provide remote network support to the Customer on a hardware and network operating system level, including assessing the fault segment for subsequent troubleshooting.
- Able to provide remote support to the network appliances that are under the management list. The network appliances are identified to be under support using the principal vendor model and serial number.
- Able to obtain the customer’s approval before making any configuration changes on the system. Request for such approvals must be accompanied by documentation on the changes to be made and must be signed off by the customer.
- For hardware support, Able to use anecdotal observation based on the problem symptom(s) reported in the support request to determine the faulty component. Able to then open a support case with the Customer’s maintenance vendor to request for further troubleshooting and repair of the component.
- For network operating system support, Able to attempt to resolve the fault or alleviate the symptoms based on the problem symptom(s) reported in the support request. If the fault cannot be resolved within the SLA as stated in Annex B, Able to then open a support case with the Customer’s maintenance vendor, such as Cisco, to request for further troubleshooting.
- To perform a network support or configuration change request.
- To perform a network configuration change.
- To resolve a network operating system incident.
- Able to provide a workaround for complex incident until a permanent fix is identified. - Until a permanent fix is in place, a problem ticket will be opened to track the final resolution.

For unmanageable devices for example, access points without controller or logical access, he/she should be able to perform ping monitoring and simple troubleshooting.- Specialization
