Job Purpose:

- Provides expert guidance, direction and leadership in regards CGS- CIMB SECURITIES selection and use of technologies.
- Leads CGS-CIMB SECURITIES IT Operational functions (IT Security, IT Goverance, IT Operations, IT Finance).
- Assist in the setting of long-term needs and pursues purchases and contracts that will aid in accomplishing business objectives.
- Assist for budgeting, strategic planning and forecasting.
- Manages others

**Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Provides Inputs to the overall IT strategy and direction
- Plans and executes IT Strategy budget

Business Performance and Management
- Ensures quality and timely IT support to the entire company
- Ensures IT projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality
- Manages all Vendor relationships

People Management
- Manages IT KPI’s and providing timely updates to management.
- Ensures staff retention and staff training
- Provides mentorship and career progression guidance to IT team

Regulatory Compliance
- Implements strategy to address compliance requirements

**Requisites**
- Bachelor or Master's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics or equivalent professional qualification)
- At least 10+ years of experience in corporate and/or investment banking at an established bank / financial institution
- At least 3 years of prior leadership position in corporate and/or investment banking role at anestablished bank / financial institution.

Technical/Functional skills
- In-depth knowledge of investment banking products and services, IT process flow, and the rules and regulations in the regional landscapes.
- Demonstrate leadership and Expertise knowledge for business technology initatives
- Ability to keep the business up and running
