**Salary**: $5,000 - $8,000 a month

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a Head Designer who is able to quickly interpret business needs and client briefs and turn them into compelling creative solutions. Often working under tight deadlines while overseeing multiple projects, the Head Designer must be a skilled manager of creative teams (including but not limited to: art directors, copywriters, content strategists, graphic artists, and designers). The Head Designer must be an effective communicator, especially when it comes to relaying creative concepts to design teams and company stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of the design process, from research and ideation, to creative conceptualization and design.
- Lead multi-level Design Team in the conceptualization and execution of designed direction & provide art direction for the project and client needs.
- Work closely with sales and project team and executives to ensure design teams are meeting market trends and business directives.
- Understand business needs and ensure Designers time is allocated accordingly.
- Continually look for ways to improve productivity and output for the design team.
- Participate and provide design perspective on large company initiatives in partnership with executive management.
- Confidently present final product lines, concept, and trends to internal management and external customers and licensors.
- Build and maintain trusting and professional relationships with buyers and upper management.
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional partners across the entire business.
- Have strong people management and leadership skills in order to hire, develop, and inspire the creative team.
- Train and develop design team with the ability to inspire confidence in young designers and provide constructive criticism to foster their growth, and help the senior team manage their direct reports.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Please attach a copy of your portfolio for consideration
- Degree in Interior Design, Exhibition/Event Design or related disciplines
- Proficient knowledge of 3D Studio Max, AutoCad, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong experience within an agency environment with notable events, exhibitions or retail interior design experiences is an advantage
- Independent and responsible individual who is able to handle multiple projects and to work within tight deadline
- Minimum 6+ years of experience

Salary will commensurate according to experience and qualification of applicant.
