Process Engineer

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Process Engineer I located in Singapore. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

What You Will Do:
1. To uphold high standards of site process safety performance.

2. To harness, optimize and continuously improve the Blu OPS digitalization tools and platform as part of process and production analytics that will enhance/ elevate production volume, productivity, efficiency, safety and etc.

3. Monitor production processes and develop/revise manufacturing procedures to ensure safe, timely, quality and efficient manufacture of products that meets required yield and cycle time standards.

4. Create, review and update standard operating procedures, manufacturing procedure and Parsable manufacturing procedures to reflect actual operation.

5. Oversee the process of new product review and introduction.

6. Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues which arises during production operation. Performs investigation studies, trial production runs and provide recommendations.

7. Conduct continuous process improvement study and projects via TPM, Loss Prevention, VSM and lean manufacturing methodologies. This include product batch cycle time improvement via digitalization tools and platforms.

8. Creates and maintains SAP, FST, Parsable and P4 product manufacturing master data information for the site.

9. Tracks and record production operating performance via OPE, time block and loss analysis. In addition, track the consumption of plant utilities.

10. Gathers and reports various plant key performance information/ data to site, regional and corporate.

11. Develop feasible study, design details and project scope for new processes. Estimates profitability, cost benefits and provides written justification for the project.

12. Conduct process safety incident investigations via root cause analysis, FMEA, management of change, process safety training and audit.

13. Conduct technical training, SOP and any other operating techniques.

15. Stays abreast of current technology for specialty batch and semi batch processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A BEng degree is required in chemical engineering and a minimum of 4 years related experience is preferred.- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.- The Process Engineer must be capable to multi-task with day-to-day batch reaction operation and support plant with assigned projects/tasking.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Batch Reaction Processes is preferred- Experience in Data Analysis and visualization of data via PowerBI is preferred
