**Key Responsibilities**:
- Hands-On Financial Consolidation: Directly prepare the group's monthly and quarterly consolidation financials, ensuring accuracy through diligent monitoring, reconciliation.
- Detailed Financial Analysis: Contribute to financial discussions with global teams, analyzing financial data across the group to identify trends, variances, and potential impacts on financial performance.
- Collaborative Efforts for Consolidation: Work closely with finance teams across the group to collect necessary data for consolidation, ensuring a streamlined and consistent approach to financial reporting.
- Assist in monthly and quarterly consolidation system management tasks, including creating new Consolidation periods, transferring forex adjustments, and generating consolidation event journals.
- Handle roll-forward processes, such as updating prior month folders, consolidation file parameters, interim worksheets, and monthly analysis files for reporting.
- Update and post consolidation journal entries, including disposal, amortization, and presenting forex at net, while reviewing intercompany reports for inconsistencies.
- Support quarterly uploads and coordination, including requesting and uploading trial balances from JV/associates, pledge cash listings, and casting reports for interim reports, draft financials, CFO slides, and supporting worksheets.
**Requirements**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong focus on group consolidation involving multiple entities corporate structure, including experience in large private or listed groups and/or Big Four accounting firms.
- Construction or oil and gas industry experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills, with a understanding of IFRS and regulatory standards.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, capable of handling complex data and crafting impactful presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with accountants globally, and the ability to produce well-structured written materials, drawing meaningful insights from financial data
- Education Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, financial reporting, or related field from a recognized institution, or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW) are preferred.
