**Responsibilities**:

- Perform laboratory testing, including sample extraction, wet chemistry, and instrumental analysis (eg, GC, GC-MS, HPLC, UV-Vis) and ensue accurate reporting of test data.
- Respond to urgent mobilizations when required
- Supervise and train junior analysts in routine sample analysis to maintain accuracy and reliability of analytical results
- Responsible for quality control activities, instrument troubleshooting, and junior staff training
- Prepare, maintain, and update the quality management system in compliance with SAC-SINGLAS requirements.
- Ensure equipment performance and test data reliability through QA/QC protocols and scheduled preventive maintenance
- Participate in planning, scheduling, and distribution of laboratory work
- Work as a team, support communication and coordination with internal and external clients, and address their enquiries
- Undertake technical development initiatives, including the validation and implementation of new analytical methods
- Conduct site visits and perform on-site testing if required
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry or relevant degree
- Able to work as a team
- Possess atleast minimum experience of 1 - 2 years in relevant field
