Scientific Marketing Specialist, Asia Pacific

**Job Description Summary**:
Are you based in Singapore and interested in using your life sciences background to build a career in marketing, science communication, and writing in the biotechnology industry? We are looking for a Scientific Marketing Specialist who will contribute to STEMCELL’s mission of improving lives through advanced knowledge and scientific discovery.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns to support the delivery of STEMCELL’s market segment and brand strategies in Asia Pacific, and support the achievement of sales and marketing goals
- Create, maintain, and promote marketing content, including lead-generating activities, website content, social media content, videos, web and print advertisements, sales tools, tradeshow booth graphics, and other promotional materials
- Manage the execution of local conferences and events, and support regional office needs and logistics related to regional marketing - e.g. inventory, stock, and ship local conference and literature assets. Please note, this role will require some travel to support local conferences and events
- Track, review, and report the progress of marketing campaigns and tactics with supervisor and campaign project teams; identify and report bottlenecks and delays, and update the status of assigned tasks in the project management system

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- BSc in the life sciences with 2-3 years relevant experience, or MSc in the life sciences with 1-2 years of experience
- Experience in a marketing or communications role, with a demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategy and tactical plans into effective marketing collateral is an asset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) both in one-on-one and in group settings. The ability to speak Mandarin (or other regional languages) is an asset
- Strong independent and group project management and organizational skills, including enthusiasm for working as a part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented team
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position marketing related equipment and materials of at least 9 kg, as required
