**About the Team** The Data team within Doctor Anywhere oversees all of the company’s data-related requirements. The goal is to use the data to assist the company in making product/business decisions, and measure its effectiveness. This team works closely with our Product, Engineering, Business to develop a deep understanding of how our products are used and influence the company strategy. **About the role** We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated **Data Scientist Intern **who will contribute to execution and exploration of Data Science projects. You will be working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with one of or more of following functions: Data Engineers, Data/BI Analysts, Product Managers, Software Engineering Teams and Business Stakeholders. This role reports directly to the **Lead Data Scientist**. **Responsibilities**: - Work on ML projects e.g. classification, NLP, document understanding, forecasting - Exploration or PoCs of new machine learning models or tools - Implementation of ML pipeline components to ensure model stability **About you** - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Information System. - Have knowledge (preferred with some hands-on experiences) on some of the following machine learning topics: model selection, hyperparameter optimisation, classification/regression models like boosting, deep learning, NLP. - Familiar with Python. - Experiences with Pandas and Git are bonus points. - Have strong interest and self-learning capabilities on new topics & state of the art of AI/ML development - Comfortable with fast paced operations and not afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to get things done. - Bonus point if you have personal machine learning projects that can be shared/demonstrated e.g. on github. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity with the possibility of extension.
