
Accounts Payable Executive

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable (AP) Executive will support the accounts payable functions for the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities and general accounting. This is a 3-month contract position.
**Responsibilities**:
Accounts Payable
- Reviews payment vouchers to ensure payments raised are accurate, well supported with documents and with necessary approvals obtained
- Ensure monthly and year-end accounts are closed and balanced in a timely manner
- Review vendor aging reports and vendor statement of account to ensure accuracy and timeliness in preparation of payments
- Review AP bank transactions to ensure all payments are accounted for and posted.
- Assist with audit matters relating to AP and GL
**General Ledger**
- Review general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy and timeliness in general ledger data entry
- Review bank reconciliation, journals and miscellaneous receipts
- Monitor petty cash activities and balances for all divisions/departments
- Assist with transmission of monthly payroll, rental and CPF contribution as assigned
- Assist on audit matters relating to AP and GL
**Others**
- Assist with data collection and analysis as and when required by the Director of Finance
- Maintain all records, correspondence, etc. in a well organized and accessible manner
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all school and accounts office records
- Ensure compliance with all school’s policies and procedures as related to the job responsibilities of this position
- Relate courteously and effectively with students, parents, school personnel and community patrons as necessary
- Perform other accounting functions as assigned by Finance Manager and/or Director of Finance
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Diploma in accounting/Professional qualification in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Experience in using SAP S4/Hana or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Proficient in MS office and Google suite
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive work attitude and initiative
- A team player, hands-on with good thought processes and people management skills.
