**This is an opportunity to be part of the core growth & product teams as our first data analyst, working closely with the founders, marketing, and product teams to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven insights.**

**What You’ll Do**
- Collect, process, and analyze data across various sources (such as Google Analytics, Big Query, and Postgres) to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that drive business growth
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to inform and optimize product features and user experience
- Work with the engineering team to design and implement data collection and processing systems that support data-driven decision making
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and metrics, providing regular updates on performance and progress against goals

**Requirements**:

- Strong mathematical foundation - this job is all about numbers & insights
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields, ideally in a tech/SaaS startup with a large volume of users and/or data
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and experience working with large datasets across several sources
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
- Proficient in the basics of AB testing and its implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for using data to inform business decisions.

- You’ve worked in growth and marketing teams, with a good understanding of acquisition funnels, conversion rates, and performance marketing concepts
- You’ve worked with product & engineering teams, with a strong understanding of user analytics and feature usage across both web and mobile platforms
