With a presence across more than 250 cities in over 30 countries, the Group focuses on Singapore and China as its core markets, while it continues to expand in markets such as India, Vietnam, Australia, Europe and the USA. **The Job** The Private Capital Markets (“PCM”) team is responsible for capital raising and product development for CapitaLand’s private funds across Private Equity Real Estate, Private Equity Alternative Assets, and Lodging Fund Management. CapitaLand currently manages ~US$20 billion across >20 private funds. Reporting to Managing Director, Global Product Development, you will help shape and develop new private fund offerings by partnering with the Group’s capital raisers, fund management teams and other stakeholders. **Responsibilities** - Lead, structure, and project manage new private fund vehicles/products across geographies (e.g., China, Singapore, India, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Australia, APAC) and asset classes (e.g., Data Centres, Commercial, Retail, Lodging/Service Residences/coliving, Credit, and Infrastructure) - Support business development & capital raising efforts of new and existing fund vehicles, including preparation of marketing materials, addressing capital partners’ due diligence questions, organising meetings and road shows, supporting negotiations and preparation of fund documentation - Assist in team efforts to research, target, develop, and maintain relationships with existing and potential capital partners - Contribute to the Group’s investment management strategy through research and market intelligence, including keeping current on competitive and regulatory landscape and best practices **Requirements**: - Degree in Real Estate / Finance / Business Administration / Economics or equivalent - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (e.g. with real estate fund managers / financial institutions / real estate developers or operators / financial advisory firms, particularly in corporate finance / fund raising / investments). - Sound working knowledge of private equity real estate fund management, investments and capital raising processes.
