**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Assist the Head of Exchange Operations to hire, train, mentor and manage the needed staff across shifts to run the Exchange.
- Ensure cross learning of self and team within the Exchange and Clearing Operations functions.
- Ensure a smooth BAU operation upon Go Live of the Exchange, including but not limited to managing the shifts across 24/6 as well as handling and resolving day to day issues.
- Build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Work well with the Abaxx Regulatory, Compliance, Operations & Technology team, MAS as well as other regulators, as Abaxx navigates the Exchange and Clearing House regulatory process.
- Identify product/business requirements and develop products that offer an outstanding customer experience.
- Work closely with the Abaxx Technology team to develop best in Exchange Operations technology solutions and procedures
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Design and build business processes to support the legal, regulatory, risk management, and backoffice processes.
- Take input and feedback from the customers, partners, and sales organization to continuously improve the Abaxx products.
- Be able and willing to work in a virtual environment in case the situation demands, while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the nature of duties.
- Maintain an intimate and updated knowledge of the market for next-generation exchanges and clearing houses and continue to refine the overall strategy of the product and business as the market and technologies evolve.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Exchange Operations.

**Qualifications**
- Experience of working in an Exchange environment or of working in a front office dealing with Exchanges or Trading platforms.
- Knowledge of various Exchange concepts such as Futures and Options ETD contracts, Order types, close prices computation logics, price bands, instruments expiries and regeneration.
- Experience / exposure to the various communication protocols such as FIX for front office dealings and SWIFT messaging.
- Knowledge of the exchange traded instruments’ lifecycle, including an understanding of the Clearing & Settlement lifecycle.
- Previous experience of working in a Project dealing with the Technology Teams, and handling project SDLCs such as Waterfall and AGILE.
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers, and work with all levels within the organization. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams that do not directly report to you.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, planning, organizational and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in pressure situations, across shifts and capability of handling of situations as per laid down escalation protocol.
- Shift duties are required.
