You will provide a wide variety of strategic and tactical HR function services for the region, including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, talent development, total rewards, talent management, employee relations, diversity, equality and inclusion, organizational development, and HR operations.

As HRBP for the APAC region, you will be part of our diverse, collaborative, and energetic HR and business support team. This group consists of like-minded individuals who are passionate about their job and work as a team. Involvement in various exciting Business and HR projects will be part of the role and you will have the chance to collaborate with colleagues all around the world.

The role reports to the Environment & Health (E&H) Global HR Director and works closely with the Head of HR, APAC. Together with the HR team, the HRBP will provide primary support to all markets across all our offices in the APAC region, and, as Ramboll expands in the APAC, the incumbent may provide HR support to new geographies in the region. You will have the opportunity to spar with peers and work closely with other HR professionals. You will be based in Singapore/ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Being a trusted advisor and partner to support internal clients in achieving their business goals and HR objectives:

- Recommend, develop, and implement people & culture initiatives, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the region and support the organization towards the preferred employer
- Coach managers on effective management/supervisory skills that inspire high-performing employees
- Consult with managers, team leads, and employees to resolve employee relations issues involving disputes, poor performance, inappropriate behaviour, and policy violation
- Monitor adherence to HR policies and consult with management on policy guidance and interpretation.
- Develop collaborative relationships with management, people managers, and employees where you will be involved in activities such as coaching, influencing, facilitating, presenting, communicating, analyzing, problem-solving, etc.
- Monitor employee engagement and work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Remain abreast of general employment-related and data privacy and laws and HR trends and development as well as specific local regulations for the APAC region.
- Create/conduct HR-related training and coaching for management, Managers, and employees (e.g., interviewing skills, conducting performance reviews, giving feedback) and collaborate with COEs to deliver training across APAC.
- Champion Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategies and create/conduct EDI related programs to deliver it across APAC
- Partner with people managers and recruiters to attract and retain a diverse, engaged workforce
- Participate in and facilitates company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., annual performance management, salary review, employee satisfaction and engagement (ESES) survey, workforce planning, and organizational change)
- Work closely with HR Operations and Ramboll Support Centre to deliver and execute day-to-day HR activities
- Compile reports and conduct analysis from HRIS and other data resources, as needed
- Navigate complex matrix organization and stakeholders and ensure stakeholder consultation, information, and governance
- Be involved in M&A such as due diligence and integration activities as assigned
- Perform special projects as assigned.

- BA or Masters in HR or related field
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a HR Generalist/HRBP
- Solid expertise and track record in EDI and Employee Relations program is a plus
- Preference for Engineering
