The Web3 team at Blep is responsible for building the core infrastructure powering Nakji Network. As a member of the Web3 team, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work on blockchain data infrastructure that is critical to any product building in Web3. You will be the lead technical person in creating a decentralized blockchain protocol. This is an expert-level role - you will be architecting the protocol and be the lead implementation engineer on the same.

A Day in the Life of:

- Support the needs of the engineering organization enabling them to rapidly deliver new services and deploy their changes with high confidence.
- Demonstrated success in designing and leading the deployment of a Web 3 product or protocol utilizing an underlying layer 1 or layer 2 blockchain technology.
- Demonstrated success in architecting a decentralized protocol with a token economy on top of that protocol.
- Has built and deployed at least one smart contract on any major smart contract blockchain.
- Be able to build a multithreaded app with mínimal supervision; containerize the app, and test that app in a Kubernetes environment.
- Work equally well in a CI/CD environment as well as a software release environment.

Looking for:

- Have you done something like being a core developer for a database? A message Queue? A Torrent? The control plane for cluster or VM orchestration? We are looking for someone that has designed and built something large and distributed that is in production use.
- Strong backend engineering experience
- Previous experience with software architecture design in a Web3 and Blockchain Environment
- Direct experience architecting non-trivial products on blockchain, preferably on Ethereum (or evm compatible)
- Commitment to working with an international team
- Strong Git/Github skills.

Bonus
- Time series databases
- Running blockchain nodes
- Solidity, (or similar smart contract specific programming language)
- Developed and deployed a complex globally available API
