Support the Manager/Assistant Manager of Clinical & Health Informatics Office (CHIO) in the implementation of the hospital informatics strategic roadmap through the intelligent use of health informatics to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care.
**Challenges**
Your key responsibilities include the following:
- Support the maintenance and operationalization of policies, guidelines and frameworks which governs the development and implementation of clinical and health IT systems supporting patient care like Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Operationalizing of policies and the tactical implementation of strategic initiatives by way of work plans to ensure that CHIO meets its strategic goals and objectives.
- Knowledge and content management of project files and documentation, meeting minutes, discussions, and key decisions in support of clinical and health informatics, and to ensure ease of future reference.
- Support CHIO in the execution of hospital health informatics training and development plans, and academics and research for health informatics, to support both clinical and non-clinical staff who wish to pursue a career in informatics and to support the hospital’s health informatics strategy roadmap.
**Requirements**:
- At least a tertiary degree from a recognized university. Preferably 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office like Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and people management.
- Strong analytical skills to manage complex issues and with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and process information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to initiate, deliver and drive projects with independently.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in healthcare policy writing and healthcare systems governance is a plus.
- Health informatics certification, and project management certification (PMP) a plus.
