Reporting into the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

He/she will lead the technology development to deliver solutions and products required. Also to focus on pursuing strategic goals such as driving innovation, identifying emerging technologies to transform our business model, future solutions and products that are aligned with our business goals and priorities.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and lead EDMI technology strategy.
- Lead the global R&D resources to deliver solutions and products on time to plan, built with modularity and design reusability to meet the needs of customers and markets.
- Define technology architectures and roadmaps to deliver cutting-edge technology and innovation that are efficient, reliable and on time to market.
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams to anticipate the evolving needs of our customers, and own the responsibility to deliver the solutions on schedule as required by business unit(s).
- Provide global governance for strategy, policies, resource and program management, solutions architecture, development, requirements definition, budgeting, change control, IP, training, business impacts, and ensure alignment which is vital in driving the business plan centrally, with cross-functional and inter-regional interaction.
- Ensuring that technology resources and organisation meet the company's short and long-term needs.
- Acting as a mentor to team members.
- Managing technology budgets, resource and deliverables, ensuring technologies and resources are used efficiently, profitably and securely.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Engineer or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
- Previous working experience as a CTO or similar leadership role. Experience in delivering solutions for Energy industries or Utility sectors will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of technology innovation, design, development and implementation of software, hardware and solutions.
- Solid understanding of technological trends and the ability to align innovation with business goals.
- Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking abilities with a problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong leadership skills in strategic planning, resource management, goal setting, process development, budgeting, and professional development within technology teams.
- Strong work ethic with guiding principles of transparency, integrity, honesty and accountability.
