**About the job Senior Data Scientist (GenAI)**:
We're seeking a talented AI professional to drive transformative change in our client's organization. As a key member of the AI team, you'll develop and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) solutions that unlock new capabilities and drive significant productivity gains.

**Transforming Business Outcomes**

You'll work closely with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to identify and deliver high-impact GenAI-driven business use cases. Your expertise will enable the bank to stay ahead of the curve, leveraging the latest advancements in AI to drive innovation and growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drive Innovation**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy GenAI solutions that drive business value.
- **Technical Leadership**: Research, experiment, and develop performant GenAI capabilities that meet strategic project objectives.
- **Expertise and Advisory**: Stay updated on emerging AI advancements, providing expert advice and contributing to validation and benchmarking exercises.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Effectively manage stakeholder interactions, ensuring successful project outcomes.

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Technical Expertise**: Postgraduate degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science) with a strong foundation in Deep Learning, Python programming, and data science tools like Pytorch and LangChain.
- **Proven Experience**: 5+ years of advanced data science experience, preferably in banking/financial services, with a proven track record of solving complex business problems using data-driven approaches.
- **GenAI Expertise**: Experience in end-to-end GenAI/LLM deployment, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent communication, project management, and data visualization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- **AI Research**: AI-related thesis/publications on GenAI topics, demonstrating thought leadership and expertise.
- **Advanced AI Skills**: Experience in Agentic AI, Visual/Audio/Multimodal generation, or other cutting-edge AI technologies.
