As a Project Engineer for Power Management Systems under Process Automation Energy Industries division, you will be responsible for completing assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Reporting to Digital Solution Engineering Manager, you will be designing and conducting experiments, analyzing and interpreting data. Preparing complete project documents in one’s area of responsibility. This position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.,)
- Providing cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks
- Preparing scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions
- Interacting with customers, officials, contractors, and others. Attending project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments
- Collaborating with the supply chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed to with potential suppliers
- Maintaining network of engineering professionals and sharing engineering best practice across different projects and disciplines

**Your background**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or control systems engineering, or similar field
- 5 years of engineering experience with at least 1 year in systems engineering for a power management system
- Knowledge of ABB 800xA Engineering in IEC61850 is an advantage
- Knowledge of ABB 800xA PMS Library Engineering is an advantage
- Ability to understand Electrical schematics and design control systems communication network
- Knowledge of IEC61850/GOOSE protocol, knowledge of power loading controls, sharing and control of power plant generators and power grids
