Reports to:
Co Head of Development
- Be able to develop, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C/C++ code and/or scripts for middleware in a secure way
- Have a good understanding of the Linux kernel as well as be able to make minor changes and recompile it.
- Be able to build, sign, and maintain Linux image UEFI files with secure boot, and set up key management process
- Be able to integrate, containerize, and deploy microservices into Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments using CICD pipelines
- Participate in platform-specific security feature design, development and discussion across different infrastructure and development teams
- Collaborate with infrastructure and test teams on issue troubleshooting & CI/CD support
- Ensure that development, bug-fix, test status and risks are clearly communicated and reported
- Help maintain code quality, test automation, and documentation

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent engineering education
- 5+ years of development in Linux C kernel and middleware. Experience in Linux Security Module (LSM) framework is desirable
- Good knowledge and practical experience of C/C++ and shell scripting, with a focus on C for kernel modules.
- Knowledge of embedded security, operating systems, and virtualization technology is preferrable
- Advanced kernel mode debugging skills, extensive experience of work with kernel level debuggers, including GDB/LLDB.
- Utilizing container technologies including Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes to build and manage microservice-based services.
- Able to work independently with good team-spirit on task achievement

Preferred Skills
- C/C++, Python, Go, Rust, LLVM/clang
- Linux - kernel modules, Kubernetes, Restful Web Services
- Knowledge in cryptography fundamentals
- Good understanding of HSMs and code signing principles
