Assistant Tyreman

Work Location: 59 Senoko Rd, Singapore 758123 (Company bus at 08:00 AM from Admiralty MRT - the bus stop opposite Exit C or public bus 981 from bus stop opposite Sembawang station B58219)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Alternate Saturdays (B): 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Overtime is payable. (20-30+hrs/mth)

Flexi Dollars: $700 (medical, dental & optical)

- Commercial Vehicle Tyres Breakdown Recovery at workshop
- Attend to requests from customers for Tyres Recovery, Replacement & Repair
- Receive and check all incoming parts/tyres for warehouse
- Label, palletise and binning of parts/tyres for warehouse storage
- Pack parts for delivery in accordance to delivery orders
- Adhere to company guidelines regarding spares and stock handling
- Handle stock take exercise following instruction given by Team Leaders
- Optimise warehouse space
- Assist in the day to day operations within the warehouse
- Execute actions in accordance with safety and housekeeping requirements set by company
- Tyre breakdown recovery services
- Replace tyre valve stem and removing puncturing object
- Patching puncture tyres with rubber cement
- Unbolt wheels from vehicles; remove them using lug wrenches and other hand/power tools
- Replacing worn tyres with new tyre
- Installation and removal of rubber tube
- Perform wheel alignment checks and repairs
- Do tyre rotation to maximise tyre lifespan
- Do delivery on ad hoc basis
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors

**Requirements**:

- Possess a **valid Class 3 Driving License**:

- Able to read/write basic english
- Independent and Positive attitude
- Service-oriented mindset
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Familiar with tyre hand tools
- Able to carry heavy items
- Able to work beyond office hours and on weekends
