[What the role is]

This Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Digital Solutions) position is in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department whose focus is set on helping our students, staff and alumni build up their enterprising skills in areas like creative problem solving, capitalisation of opportunities, perseverance and overcoming fears & doubts in everyday situations.

[What you will be working on]
- Design and develop digital solutions to solve identified complex challenges
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand user or system requirements
- Write well-designed, testable and efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create functional prototypes for users’ review
- Gathering and evaluating user feedback
- Conduct training & workshop on areas of digital solutions
- Mentor students, staff and start-ups on digital solutioning
- Project Management
- Other ad-hoc duties and projects
- In addition to the above, a Senior Lecturer will take on and engage in collaborative initiatives in technological research, business innovation, industry project and consultancy work as well as leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity. He/she is also expected to train/mentor junior staff by providing technical guidance.

[What we are looking for]
- Qualification in suitable disciplines including Computer Science/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering/Artificial Intelligence or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in no-code app builders
- A passion for building beautiful interfaces and user experiences that spark joy
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and you enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
- Knowledge in native development (iOS or Android) is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud ecosystems, AI and Machine Learning will be a huge plus
- Adaptable and thrives in changing environments
