**RECRUITMENT OF HR PROFESSIONAL (GENERALIST)
**Job Description & Requirements**

We are a medium-size church and kindergarten with 70 personnel seeking to make a lasting spiritual and community impact. We seek an experienced HR Professional (Generalist) to develop and implement HR policies and functions to support employees throughout their employment life cycle.

**Role Objectives: -**

This incumbent is responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions from resource management (i.e. full suite, both onboarding and offboarding), compensation and benefits management, HR administration and policies.

**Responsibilities: -**

Your key tasks will include the following, some of which may be assigned to an HR Executive:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall mission and vision of the church and kindergarten.
- Collaborate with the management to identify staffing needs (roles, headcount and costs) and develop workforce planning and recruitment strategies - identifying gaps, sourcing, succession planning and reassignments
- Develop and update Job / Role descriptions.
- Oversee and manage the Recruitment and Selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. Managing employee Onboarding and Offboarding processes and ensuring a smooth transition for new, re-employed and retiring employees
- Develop and administer Staff Contracts and Staff Employment terms (i.e. work hours, probation, notice period, insurance, tenure, compensation, benefits, payment methods), creating and maintaining letter templates - employment contract, clearing probation, salary reviews etc.
- Work with the insurance broker to facilitate purchasing, renewing & claiming of applicable policies
- Maintain employee records, ensuring data privacy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including the completion of MOM surveys.
- Provide guidance and support to leadership and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Update the staff HR handbook.
- Conduct regular training/briefing sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining good talent
- Develop relevant career development and staff training programs
- Administer Annual Reviews together with management, including the planning schedule for annual staff evaluation and administering staff review letters
- Administer Expense claims
- Liaise with the appointed Payroll Vendor in providing updated staff remuneration data monthly
- Develop Staff engagement and Welfare programs

**Requirements:

- **
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and present HR metrics to inform decision-making.
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Willingness to work on some Sundays when the need arises.
- Willingness to attend weekly staff devotion and meeting.
