JR24266 Shift Planner

As SSD Production Shift Planner, you will schedule, coordinate, and support final approval of products through the entire production cycle. You will work with MPS, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing to establish production schedules and commitments based on BOM, DRAM, engineering and capacity constraints. You will follow-up on production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedule. You will work collaboratively with other supply chain groups to improve efficiency to meet company goals. **Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Plan and Coordinate Product Manufacturing
- Understand product requirements, production processes, and equipment capacities.
- Understand general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for special projects or assignments.
- Investigate problems, analyze data, and suggest solutions to minimize production downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Communicate and write special planning requests as required.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Communicate information, suggestions, messages, and pass downs in an organized manner.
- Establish effective customer relationships with other areas and coordinate work schedules.
- Support changes implemented in the area, and respond in a positive and supportive manner.
- Co-ordinate site to site material flow to ensure timely production schedules.
- Co-ordinate with Finished Goods team on the receipt of RMA modules to reprocess.
- Support in Excursion and deviant materials containments.
- Compile weekly planning reports and provide coverage for planners in their absence.
- Adhere to EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, Security) Policies
- Observe all established EHSS policies, requirements and procedures.
- Follow EHSS guidelines included in work instructions.
- Report conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHSS policies or procedures.
- Cooperate with all audits.

**Job Requirements **Education
- Diploma in Engineering or Supply Chain Management

Experience
- Any number of years experience in any of the following:

- Manufacturing or Production Planning

**Qualifications**:

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
