Film Director

Zeetrope is looking for an experienced film director that is well versed in directing video content genres like commercials, documentaries, corporate, short films, and branded content web series. He or she has to have a good foundation in the craft of all aspects of filming production which includes pre-production, filming, and post-production. We want to work with someone fearless with creativity and willingness to push the boundaries of narrative content trends. The role requires a confident personality, the ability to adapt, and someone that can be flexible to work with the team or independently.

Your duties as Film Director are as follows:

- Attend project briefings, production meetings, and liaise with the client.
- Able to script and craft write-ups for storyboarding purposes.
- Crafting director’s visual treatment and designing of decks with the team.
- Presentation of proposal or pre-production decks.
- Directing responsibilities for all video content aspects of the production, which includes pre-production, filming, and post-production.
- Develop campaign/content/pitch ideas or creatives proposals
- Liaising with producers on requirements and deadlines
- Keep up to date on the latest filming technology in terms of software/hardware to help strengthen the team’s creative deliverables.
- Reporting to the Executive Producer, Head of Creatives.
- And any ad-hoc duties assigned.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of experience in the media industry.
- Have a substantial amount of video reels of past works for our reference.
- Proficient with writing or speaking in the English language.
- Proficient in creating production decks using google slides, keynotes, or pages.
- Adequate knowledge of filming equipment & post-production software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
