- What will you do?_

Testing
- Liaises with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of escalator. Posts notices on escalator and communicate with the others who may be affected
- Ensures that the escalator is electrically safe
- Commissions the escalator in accordance with the agreed specification parameters
- Tests the escalator in accordance with the relevant test document and KONE standard, Escalator Directive and/or Design (Essential Health & Safety Requirements compliance)
- Takes measurements and completes the necessary documentation
- Records any abnormalities for corrective action or inclusion in H&RA for the escalator
- Carries out final inspection and signs the Final inspection document
- Reports the condition of the escalator to the Project Manager. The Testing Engineer will give snagging items list to the Tester. The Testing Engineer should not make any other communication outside the company without permission from the supervisor.
- Takes part in meetings and work groups related to quality and technical issues
- Responsible for the escalator well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the escalator (or escalator)

People Leadership
- Responsible for verifying that tester are trained, certified, competent and capable of

performing each testing and commissioning task
- Accountable for site operatives’ motivation and wellbeing
- Responsible for identifying field operative training needs and communicating these to respective line managers, HR, installation subcontracting companies and sourcing
- Responsible for site planning, communication, objective setting and progress monitoring
- Responsible for managing the performance of the team and individuals (10 -15 testers)
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a proactive and professional relationship with subcontractors
- Are you the one?_
- 5 years experiences in testing the escalators (major or small projects) with ability to lead the team
- Able to read schematic electrical drawing and good at troubleshooting
- Strong communications skills and managing conflict.
