**Position **:Application Consultants

**Contract duration**:Up to 12 months

**Work location**:HQ Office (JEM)

**Work Pattern**:8.30am to 6.00pm (Mon - Thurs) 8.30am to 5.30pm (Fri)

**Responsibilities**:
You will be involved in a range of tasks including the following:

- partner with the business teams to elicit business needs and develop the appropriate business case
- Assess current state, analyse stated requirements of stakeholders and accurately defines business need within specified scope
- Work with project teams to develop requirements such as user stories, functional/technical specifications and acceptance criteria
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technology, including sourcing and evaluating alternatives, and recommending solution that best fits stakeholders' needs.
- Manage conflicts, issues and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team remain in agreement on solution scope
- Plan and project manage the implementation and maintenance of various systems/initiatives
- Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and adoption and operation
- Analyse impact of requested changes and propose improvements to continuously address changing business needs, and work with support team to understand and address technical problems (Operations & Maintenance phase)
- Plan and implement operation processes and procedures to manage the day to day operation of the system to meet the business operation objectives on systems availability
- Ensure that the system meets the stipulated service level agreement for system availability;
- Ensure that the vendor meets the stipulated service level agreement for problem resolution;
- Review the monthly progress reports from vendor to ensure that they are in order;
- Ensure all Severity 1 and 2 incidents are closed with corrective and preventive measures (if applicable);
- Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure maintenance processes and procedures are designed to comply with these policy and guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics

- Participated in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using

Agile Methodology
- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and influence
- A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind
- Ability to learn and apply

**Preferred Skills**:

- Business Analysis certification, e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Past Project management or Business Analysis experience
- Knowledge or hands-on project experience in Azure and AWS, APIs & Microservices environment.

**Salary**:Up to $7,820*
- Remuneration shall be commensurated with qualification and experience._
