Reporting to the Vice President Counsel based in UK, you will be part of the Consumer Products legal team. You will be the lead point contact for the Paramount Consumer Products business team in Asia, with responsibility for ensuring a fast, efficient, and consistent turnaround time for all deals across Asia whilst always providing the business with a high level of professional service.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing and administering legal documents and processes for Asia
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for Consumer Products (merchandise, promotions, publishing, agent/master licensee representation agreements, collaboration agreements, permission letters and termination agreements)
- Collaborating with colleagues from the global Consumer Products Legal team
- Preparing payment default, termination, and infringement letters as well as customs letters upon request
- Maintaining relationships internally and externally
- Assisting with reports, research, counterfeit sightings, debt collection and litigation matters as required
- Maintaining templates and suggesting updates
- Liaising with intellectual property team regarding IP infringement matters and supporting Counsel with day-to-day IP protection matters
- Collaborating and assisting with the greater team on special projects and contracts as required

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in legal studies or in a law related field of study with 6 years of working experience, preferably in contract management or consumer products licensing environment
- Strong understanding of IP and contracts law required
- Highly organized, collaborative self-starter with the ability to set priorities, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Able to succinctly explain key issues and provide actionable advice/solutions to business teams
- Excellent social skills which will enable you to interact with a wide range of personalities and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience working in-house preferred, but will consider applicant from private practice background that have had experience managing own caseload and dealing directly with clients
- Proficiency in another Asian language is a plus
