**Position Overview**
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic **Child Care Assistant**to support our teachers in the classroom. The Child Care Assistant plays an important role in caring for children’s daily needs, preparing learning environments, and helping to ensure a safe, positive, and engaging experience for every child.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support lead teachers in daily classroom routines and activities.
- Supervise children during play, meals, rest, and transitions.
- Assist in preparing learning materials, setting up provocations, and tidying the classroom.
- Attend to children’s basic needs such as toileting, feeding, and hygiene.
- Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
- Build positive, caring relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Uphold Nurtured Nest’s values of respect, curiosity, and community.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with young children (18 months - 6 years) preferred.
- Minimum **Fundamentals in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE)**certification or willing to work towards it.
- Warm, nurturing, and patient personality.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Physically fit to care for young children and support classroom activities.
