**What the role is**
- You will be part of a team which drives public communications and engagement for MPA and Maritime Singapore. You will strategize, develop and execute outreach initiatives to promote Singapore as a global hub port and an international maritime centre, and to advance and safeguard Singapore’s strategic maritime interests. The outreach initiatives would include learning journeys, public trails, workshops, and exhibitions targeting members of the public, students and educators, online content and more.
**What you will be working on**
- The role will focus on engaging the public through maritime outreach tours. He/She will focus on the procurement of services from external contractor and oversee the day-to-day execution of the contract for public and students to participate in the maritime outreach tours. These include tours to Raffles Lighthouse, Port Operations Control Centre, Sea Tours, land-based Singapore Maritime Trails etc. In addition, he/she may also support in other community engagement and partnership events that may require more manpower support in planning activities.
**What we are looking for**
- You should have relevant working experience in government procurement processes and/or community engagement programs. You must also be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work well independently under pressure.
