Inhouse Legal Counsel

**Work location: Orchard Road (Somerset MRT)
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Law degree from a recognised institution
- At least 10 years’ post-qualifying experience (PQE) in a leading law firm or in the legal department of a multinational corporation.
- Experience in advising on M&A transactions.
- Experience in transactions such as M&A, corporate restructuring, JVs, capital markets etc.
- Familiar with regulatory Companies Act, Listing Manual and Takeover Code.
- Able to read financial statements, advising Top/ Senior Management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide advice in relation to M&A activities
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts for investment, joint venture and shareholder agreements.
- Provide legal support to treasury including bilateral/syndicated loans and bonds/notes/MTN documentation.
- Provide legal support for Regional Associates and other Singtel investments including legal advice in relation to litigation and regulatory matters.
- Provide legal support for investments in new emerging markets
- Instructing and managing local counsel in different jurisdictions.
