**JOB PURPOSE**:
Execute with our customers the customer strategy and customer business plan. Responsible for the achievement of Sales (NIV & Turnover), Market Share and Debtor days for the Unilever categories as well as for the implementation and the optimization of the promotional plan & category strategies within the customer.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Implementing the Customer Business Plan
- Works closely with customers to implement the business plan for his/her respective channels. Lead a team of merchandisers to support daily operations of respective accounts, working in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager to ensure On Time and In Full execution of all campaigns and promotional activities.
- Assist Shopper Marketing Manager in facilitating and consolidating all trade activities (eg.) roadshow, sampling activations for MT and DT channels.
- Lead Ice Cream cabinet operations management for total SG, working closely with appointed distributor/agent for budgeting and execution to trade.
- Deliver the agreed plan, follow-up achievement of counterparts set in the agreement
- Provides timely feedback on the plan to ensure adjustments can be made to implement the optimal plan.
Negotiation
- Closes the deal with the Customer by negotiating the promotional plan including funding levels and counterparts according to the company strategy on his/her categories.
- Manages overall levels of Customer Investments for their category
- Monitors Customer Performance by tracking sales, customer contribution and market share for major categories.
Play as an active ambassador
- Acts as active ambassador of The Magnum Ice Cream Company at the customer and of the customer at The Magnum Ice Cream Company
- Participates actively in internal meetings, looking at the best solution for the business even if not in line for his/her customer
**EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum 1-3 years relevant Account Management/Field Sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- 1-3 years of Customer Marketing /Trade Category Management is preferable
